P.J.C Is Making The Reggaeton Music You Never Knew You Needed!

Written by on June 26, 2020

Peter Jesus Costa, also known by his stage name PJC, is a new up and coming Reggaeton artist. Born in Caracas, Venezuela on July 15th, 1996, and raised in Toronto, Canada. Since his upbringing, Peter was always fascinated by his older brother (David Fuentes), in his talent for creating songs and his raw musical ability. Led by the inspiration of David, his role model at the time, Peter began to pursue a keen interest in music but only as a hobby. Throughout the years, Peter started to focus on other aspects of his life such as a passion for science and teaching. After 4 tough years, Peter obtained a degree in Biomedical Science in 2018 and is currently enrolled in Teacher’s College for his Bachelor of Education. In the late summer of 2019, Peter gradually started integrating music as a hobby back into his life. He began taking his Spanish freestyle rap to a different degree by meeting new people that shared the same enthusiasm. He encountered a group known as, “Toronto Latin Rap Añejo”, where he gained connections in the Latin community in Toronto who had a shared interest in freestyle rap. With this group, Peter soon realized that he had a way with his words and worked to his favor in being lyrically profound.

Up until March of 2020, when he started showing more of his music to his family and friends is when he received a lot of positive feedback. Discovering his aptitude for rhymes and lyrics, Peter has decided to take the route necessary to dive into the music industry. Peter adopted the stage name PJC and is now on his way to become a Reggaeton artist/Songwriter. His first official track “Cuando” hit the web yesterday, on June 25, 2020.
